Another long exposure of the cove in Palma de Mallorca, Spain

This time I did a black and white conversion using SilverEfex Pro

Enjoy!

:star::star::star:

Three stars for the darking personality of the photograph. It gives this because of the white waves looking like fog across the sand

It loses stars because of the focus point

I personally can t understand why it is focusing and zooming into that one point on the horizon. Nothing is there but an island that is just to the left of the point. Had the island been the focus point then it would have given the impression as if the island was drawing you closer to it as if by magic which it now doesn't do. Therefore your picture is left with an empty focus point.

Does that make sense?

I think your eyes are being drawn towards the center because of the movement in the clouds due to the long exposure. Believe it or not though, the "island" which is actually the cliff face that barricades the cove on that side, is the main focal point of the image.
I can see where you are coming from though so your critique makes sense... :)
I just don't happen to agree with it ;) lol but I'm sure other will agree...

Cheers,

Well we all hav our opinions the hard part about being an artist of any kind is to please the entire viewing crowd. What makes that hard is the fact that all people will view the piece just a little bit differently because of their background and experiences

Indeed and I always love constructive criticism... even if I might not always agree with it.
