All In Motion by Creative--Dragon All In Motion by Creative--Dragon
Similar to a shot I took back in 2010, except this time with a bit more skill, patience, and better equipment ;)

This is Volksfest as seen from one of the bridges that span the Neckar river in Stuttgart Germany. Volksfest is Stuttgarts answer to Oktoberfest and is a much better experience IMO.

It took me about 30 minutes of waiting before I was able to capture all of the main attractions in motion at the same instance. I hope you like it :)

Thanks! I took a similar shot back in 2010, but this one I prefer over the other one :)

Amazing capture! Although I don't like the Volksfest (I'm from Stuttgart) I think this is an amazing image. The colours of the wheel on the back are amazing! Very nicely done.

One thing, you've got a typo in your description, it's Neckar, you're missing a C. ;)

Thanks! Glad you like it... Just curious why you dont' like Volksfest though? I've gone to Oktoberfest, and my German friends agree with me that Volksfest is better, less crowded, and much more enjoyable...

Thanks for pointing out the spelling error too... LOL I never can remember how to spell the name of the rivers... or anything else in Germany... I get my I's and E's backwards all the time, and I always leave a letter out where there should be one... HA HA HA!

Cheers,

I've been once at the Oktoberfest and I had a pretty funny night.. Still I#m not very much into this tradition, I guess I don't really like both of them. The problem with Stuttgart is that there are many kids like at the age of 15 at the Volksfest and all is kinda immature.. Appears that I'm not a conservative German. Twice a year (Volksfest in october and the Frühlingsfest in spring) there's this hype of going to the 'Wasen' and I just hate it. THe place is still crowded (not as crowded as Munich though) and there are lots of people I know which I don't really want to hang with. The beer is very expensive, the music sucks and everythings dirty. And wasted people everywhere, even at 10 am. I think that's disgusting.

You're welcome! ;) Nevermind, I also get stuff wrong in other languages all the time! :P

Thank you, I'm glad you like it. This fest is one of my favorites here in Germany. Since this is probably the last time I'll shoot it in quite some time, this has a nostalgia aspect to me as well :)

Cheers,

Like it, like it!! Nice work! Sometimes, I think patience is a very large, mainly forgotten part of photography!! :D The wheels made awesome night shots...

HA! Isn't that the truth... LOL I've gone out with fellow photographers for startrails, and they're ready to leave after 30 minutes... whereas I'm ready to leave after... 4, 5, 6 HOURS LOL
